Educational Qualification: M.Phil/Ph.D
Applications are invited from Indian citizens for temporary project positions of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)-02, Senior Research Fellow (SRF)-01, Research Associate (RA)-01, for the Ministry of Earth Science (MoES) sponsored project under the Principal Investigator Dr. Subrat Kumar Panda, Dept. of Atmospheric Science, School of Earth Sciences, Central University of Rajasthan, India with the details mentioned below.
1. Name and No of the Posts: Research Associate (RA) (01 post)
2. Monthly Fellowship: Rs 47,000/- + HRA (as per the DST and University rule)
3. Project Title:- Understanding and Prediction of Hot Spots of Severe Thunderstorms and lightning over different regions of India
4. Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/Climate Science/Geophysics with Meteorology. (Minimum 60% or equivalent CGPA in M.Sc.)
5. Desirable Qualifications: Experiences in numerical simulation of thunderstorm and lightning using mesoscale WRF Model. Working knowledge of UNIX, Shell Scripting, Fortran, GrADS, CDO, NCL, R. Experience of report writing, Journal paper and documentation work.
6. Accommodation: Bachelor accommodation in the University may be provided subject to availability.
7. Tenure of Assignment: One year with a possibility of extension for project period based on performance and availability of fund.
Pay Scale: INR 47000(Per Month)

Selection Procedure
1. Shortlisted candidates will be considered for an online interview at a later date which will be intimated by email. Selected candidates will have to bring all original certificates, experience certificates and other relevant documents at the time of Joining for verification.
2. The selected candidates can be considered for Ph.D. program of the university after clearing CUCET and fulfilling the required criteria as per university rules.
