a. First class Diploma in Electronics Engineering and 3 years of post qualification work experience in the relevant field.
b. First class diploma in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology/ Computer Applications and 3 years of post qualification work experience in the relevant field.
c. First class diploma in Electronics & Communication and 3 years of post qualification work experience in the relevant field. OR Trade certificate with NCVT in Electronics / MRTV where basic qualification for admission to the course is Matriculation or equivalent and 9 years of experience in the relevant field.
d. First class diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 3 years of post qualification work experience in the relevant field.
5. Details of Relevant experience:
a. PCB design and layout, Hi Speed PCB design, Thermal analysis and PCB assembly. OR
b. Schematic design of DSP / Microcontroller based circuit; Testing and bringing up of mixed signal PCBs; Assembly, integration, testing and troubleshooting of Underwater and Marine electronic systems, NDT and Acoustic Systems; Programming,
c. Configuring and porting firmware/OS in embedded platforms; Field experience in conducting user trials and user acceptance tests with defense sector; Documentation and process experience as per ISO 9001: 2015 standards.
d. Hearing Aid PCB Assembly and testing, Hand soldering of Through hole and SMD electronic components, Electronic Circuit testing and debugging, Experience in operating Fully automated pick and place machine, Feeder list preparation, Bill of Material Document preparation
e. Industrial, R&D or Academic Environment. Hands on experience in preparing mechanical 2D/3D fabrication drawings, CAD packages, Solid works.

c. Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 50% marks and 1 year experience in relevant field.Trade Certificate with NCVT / ITI (Electronics/MRTV) with 3 years of experience in relevant field.
5. Details of Relevant experience:
Mechanical system assembly for electronic and communication products/systems. Hand soldering of Through hole and SMD electronic components, Electronic Circuit testing, Electronic Product Assembly, Hearing Aid PCB Assembly and testing. Industrial, R&D or Academic Environment. Hands on experience in reading mechanical 2D fabrication drawings; Sheet metal fabrication; Structural fabrication.

5. Desired Skill Set: PCB Soldering; PCB board level testing and troubleshooting; Wire harnessing; Product assembling; Production and field implementation ; Assembly of mechanical enclosures related to ITS products.
6. Job Profile:
Assembly of ITS product PCBs; Board level testing and troubleshooting; Mechanical assembly of products; Implementation of ITS products in the field; Making product ready for the field implementation in bulk quantities; Supporting TOT partners and implementing agencies

Selection Procedure
1. Initial screening will be based on academic records and experience. Centre reserves the right to fix a higher percentage of marks in the initial screening process, if sufficient number of candidates with higher percentage of marks are available.
2. Short listed candidates will be called for written test followed by a skill / practical test for those shortlisted in the written test. The exact date, time and venue of the written test and skill/ Practical test will be intimated separately through electronic means
3. Written Test Details:
a. Written test will be objective type for total 200 marks (30 marks per topic & 80 marks for domain) with duration of 90 minutes total.
b. Candidates who scores minimum 40 % marks (Section wise 30 % & aggregate 40 %) will only be qualified based on merit list for selection.
c. No interview will be conducted for the above mentioned post, however a skill / practical test with regard to the specific domain to which selection is made /work experience will be held for the shortlisted candidates.
d. The skill/ practical test shall be on Fit/Unfit basis on pre-determined and notified benchmarks, and those found unfit in the skill/ practical test shall not be considered for further selection process.
e. For final selection written test marks will be considered.
f. All questions carry equal mark. For each correct answer two mark will be awarded and for each wrong answer ½ mark will be deducted. No negative mark for unattended questions.
g. Weightage will be given to marks obtained in domain knowledge.
h. Question paper (only objective) covering following syllabus.

2. The application portal will be operational from 16.03.2022 00:00 Hours to 17.04.2022 till 23:59 Hours.
3. Candidates are advised to go through the "General Terms and Conditions" thoroughly before filling the online application form. Submission of wrong information may lead to rejection of application.
4. Candidates themselves should get acquainted all the eligibility parameters before applying online and ensure that he/she is eligible for the post.
5. Candidates should have a valid email id and mobile no. which should remain valid & active till the completion of selection process.
6. Candidates should scan their photograph and signature in jpeg format and keep it ready before starting to apply online for uploading. Instructions for uploading the photograph and signature are available on the online application portal.

About Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC)
Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is the premier R&D organization of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) for carrying out R&D in IT, Electronics and associated areas. Different areas of C-DAC, had originated at different times, many of which came out as a result of identification of opportunities.
The setting up of C-DAC in 1988 itself was to built Supercomputers in context of denial of import of Supercomputers by USA. Since then C-DAC has been undertaking building of multiple generations of Supercomputer starting from PARAM with 1 GF in 1988.
Almost at the same time, C-DAC started building Indian Language Computing Solutions with setting up of GIST group (Graphics and Intelligence based Script Technology); National Centre for Software Technology (NCST) set up in 1985 had also initiated work in Indian Language Computing around the same period.
Electronic Research and Development Centre of India (ER&DCI) with various constituents starting as adjunct entities of various State Electronic Corporations, had been brought under the hold of Department of Electronics and Telecommunications (now MeitY) in around 1988. They were focusing on various aspects of applied electronics, technology and applications.
With the passage of time as a result of creative ecosystem that got set up in C-DAC, more areas such as Health Informatics, etc., got created; while right from the beginning the focus of NCST was on Software Technologies; similarly C-DAC started its education & training activities in 1994 as a spin-off with the passage of time, it grew to a large efforts to meet the growing needs of Indian Industry for finishing schools.
