Educational Qualification: Diploma, M.Sc
C-MET, Thrissur Lab, invites talented persons with research aptitude for the following posts in one of the scientific projects sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India. Duration of the Project : upto 27th February, 2025.
1. Post Name: Project Associate -I /Junior Research Fellow
2. No. of Post: 01
3. Nature of the Post: Temporary on Project based.
4. Tenure of the Post: Initially for one year and may be extended upto the completion of the Project; ie. 27th February, 2025.
5. Essential: First Class/60% marks in M.Sc. Chemistry.
6. Desirable: Experience in Energy storage material synthesis and Characterization , Testing of batteries and supercapacitors etc Only NET/ GATE qualified will be considered for JRF.
7. Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA per month for JRF and Rs.25000/- plus HRA per month otherwise.

5. Essential: First Class/60% of Marks in Diploma in Electrical/Electr onics Engineering Desirable: Experience in operating and maintaining sophisticated equipments and facilities etc
6. Emoluments: Rs. 20,000/- plus HRA per month

Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
How to Apply:
1. Those eligible for Project Associate-I/JRF may attend interview on 30/03/2022 and those eligible for Project Assistant may attend interview on 31/03/2022, at “Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET), Shornur Road, Athani-P.O., Thrissur680 581”. The registration will be between 8.00 hrs and 10.00 hrs on respective dates. Only those who have taken at least one vaccine against COVID-19 shall be allowed for registration and hence all are required to bring vaccination certificate.
2. The applicants shall bring originals along with copies of documents in support of Qualification, Age, Experience etc. The applicants shall also bring one recent Passport size Photograph at the time of registration. Only those candidates who are screened in by a Committee will be considered for interview subject to verification of original documents. If more candidates are turned up, a written examination of multiple choice objective type in the relevant subject will be conducted for preliminary Screening. In such cases, those who are sufficiently ranked higher will only be considered for interview.
