Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualification: Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from an Indian University. Must have cleared NET/SLET/SET or possess a Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations.
• Experience: Not specified for Assistant Professor.

Eligibility for Associate Professor

• Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in the concerned discipline.
• Experience: A minimum of 8 years of teaching/research experience in a University/College/Academic Research Institute.
• Research: Must have a specified number of research publications as per UGC norms.

Eligibility for Professor

• Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in the concerned discipline.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of teaching/research experience.
• Research: Must have a distinguished research record with a minimum Academic Performance Indicator (API) score as prescribed by UGC.

Selection Process

The selection is conducted in two primary phases:

1. Phase-I (Shortlisting): Candidates are screened based on a combined Basic Academic Score and API/Research Score as per UGC norms.
2. Phase-II (Interview): Shortlisted candidates will appear before a Selection Committee. For Assistant Professors, this includes a teaching demonstration/presentation and a personal interview. For Professors and Associate Professors, it is a direct interview.
