Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of I(One) post of Specialist-II and 1 (one) post of Senior Resident in the Dept. of Anaesthesiology for the Hospital unit of this Institute on Contractual basis.
1. Position: Grade II Specialist
2. No of Post: 01
3. Pay: Consolidated salary as per norms
4. Essential Qualification: DM in Onco-Anaesthesia. Or MCI Recognized MD/DNB or equivalent PG degree in Anaesthesiology with 3 years post PG experience in Anesthesiology.
5. Desirable Qualification:
(i) Experience in a Comprehensive Cancer Centre/ Regional Cancer Centre/ Teaching Hospital (either running MD/ DNB/ DM or equivalent course in the Specialty) or a Medical College/ Cancer wing in a Medical College.
(ii) Additional Training or Fellowship in Onco-anaesthesia and and Research Publications in indexed journals/ Conference presentations in InternationaVNational/ State Conferences.
6. Tenure: 44 days. (Can be extended on less than 45 days basis subject to satisfactory performance and conduct report from the concerned HOD / Competent Authority.

During that time with the help and support of Dr. B.C. Roy an eminet physician and then chief minister of West Bengal, the foundation of the present day Chittaranjan Cancer Hospital(CCH) was laid.The hospital was formally inaugurated by Prof. Madam J.Curie in January 2,1950 and named after Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Das, as a tribute to and in the acknowledgment of the enormous donation of his land and property for the cause.Initially this was a Cancer treatment centre, which gradually expanded its activities in basic and clinical research with the assistance from goverment funding organzations.This eventually led to the founding of the Chittaranjan National Cancer Research Centre (CNCRC),funded by the Goverment of India in 1957, which was committed to basic research on cancer.
