Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Manager (Finance & Accounts)
- Essential Qualification: Full time first class any degree from a recognized University with CA/ ICWA/ SAS (Commercial).
- Experience: 08 years relevant post qualification experience. At least 3 years experience in pay matrix level-11 or 8 years total experience in pay matrix levels 11 & 10 counted together under Govt/PSU/Universities/Autonomous bodies or equivalent in private organization.
- Age Limit: Up to 45 years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and others as per rules). Age relaxation up to 03 years is possible for candidates with outstanding credentials subject to approval.
- Essential Skill Sets: Govt. Financial Rules, Budgeting & Cost Accounting, Finalization of accounts/audit, Funds Management, FERA guidelines, Computerized Accounting (Tally/MIS/ERP).
Eligibility for Manager (Technical)
- Essential Qualification:
1. Full time 1st Class M.E./ M. Tech in Mech/ Chem/ Polymer Technology with 8 years post qualification experience in Polymers/Plastics.
OR
2. Ph.D in Engineering or Science or Technology with 6 years post qualification experience in Polymers/ Plastics. - Experience: Must have at least 3 years experience in pay matrix level-11 or 8 years total experience in pay matrix levels 11&10 under Govt/PSU/Autonomous bodies or equivalent in private organization.
- Who can apply: Officers under Central Govt/State Govt/UT/PSU/Universities/Research Institutions holding analogous posts or with 3 years service in Level 11.
- Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on the last date of receipt of application.
- Essential Skill Sets: Strong Technical aptitude, Shop floor management, Business Development, Leadership skills, Knowledge of Quality Management (ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, 6 Sigma).

Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) (formerly known as Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET)) was established in 1968 by Government of India with the assistance of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at Chennai. The main objective of setting up of this specialized institute was to develop manpower in different disciplines of Plastics Engineering & Technology as no similar institute was in existence in the country. International Labour Organization (ILO) served as the executing agency. During the initial project period between 1968 and 1973, the institute achieved the targets envisaged and was rated as one of the most successful UNDP projects implemented worldwide. Today CIPET is a premier Academic institution for higher & technical education under the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India fully devoted in all the domains of plastics viz:- Design, CAD/CAM/CAE, Tooling & Mould Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Testing and Quality Assurance. CIPET operates from various locations spread across the country to cater the needs of the Polymer and allied industries.
