DFCCIL requires dynamic, experienced and result oriented retired employees of Indian Railways/retired employees of DFCCIL for need-based re-engagement in various departments of EDFC and WDFC of DFCCIL on re-employment/ Consultant basis. To meet the immediate requirement of manpower, the Company invites applications from retired employees of various departments of Indian Railways and retired employees of various department of DFCCIL to form need based panel through walk-in-interview. Advt. No.11/2022 1. Position: Retired Employee 2. Eligibility of Retired Railway employees who can apply and attend the said walk-in-interview: a) Railway employees having sufficient experience of working of Civil Engineering department in maintenance of Track Machines/P-Way, Bridges) retired from CDA Scale Level-4 upto the Leve- 13(SG) will only be eligible. The retired employees of DFCCIL/IDA scale can also apply. b) Railway employees having sufficient experience of working of TRD/GEN SERVICE/OPERATION wings/TPC of electrical department with following eligibility: (i). Retired from CDA scale level-4 to level-6 of Tower Wagon driver/Loco ilot. (ii). TRD/GEN service employee retired from Level-5 upto level- 13(SG-Grade). The retired employees of DFCCIL/IDA scale can also apply. c) Railway employees having sufficient experience of working of S&T department retired from CDA Scale Level-4 upto the Level- 13(SG), The retired employees of DFCCIL/IDA scale can also apply d) Railway employees having sufficient experience of working of Traffic department retired from CDA Scale Level-7 upto the Level-11 (SS). Further, retired employees having experience of working as Safety Counsellor in Indian Railways retired from CDA scale from any department from Level-6 upto the level-11(SS) can apply. 3. Duration: The selected candidates will be placed on the panel and will be re- employed/deployed based on requirement, initially for a period of one year, which can be extended as per the requirements/performance of the retired employee and at the sole discretion of company i.e DFCCIL. The re-employment can be terminated pre- maturely on one month's notice by either side. 4. Remuneration: The pay of the retired employees will be fixed in terms of HR Policy Circular No. 29/2019 dated 01.10.2019. As per the existing policy basic remuneration of the re-employed employee(s) in CDA scale will be fixed after deduction of pension from the last pay drawn at the time of superannuation/ retirement, where pension is drawn plus applicable CDA. Entitlement for Conveyance allowance and Mobile charges will be governed as per DFCCIL's policy. Similarly, in the case of retied employees in IDA scale the pay will be fixed a 50% of last basic pay drawn applicable IDA. No other allowance is admissible. In case of travel on duty, TA/DA/Lodging as admissible to the regular employees of equivalent level to which retired employee is re-employed, will be admissible.

Through the process of Walk-in-Interview for forming a panel against the above-mentioned posts on re-employment basis which will be held on date and location. The reporting time will from 10.00 hrs. to 13.00 hrs in the respective location/office as per details.

3. Retired employees from Indian Railways fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down above, should bring with them duly filled in prescribed proforma enclosing therewith self-attested photocopies of the requisite documents i.e. PPO (as per 7th CPC), Service Certificate, Last Pay Slip, Aadhar card, Blank Cheque/Copy of Bank Passbook & two photograph etc.
4. The retired employees shall have to produce original Service Certificate/PPO and other documents for verification in original at the time of interview. The candidates will not be allowed for interview, if they don't bring the documents on the date of interview. If any of the particulars stated by the retired Railway employee is found that he has willfully suppressed any material fact/information relevant to the consideration of his/her case without prejudice to any other action that may be taken in concurrence thereof his/her candidature will be summarily rejected and will not be interviewed.
5. In addition, the proof of identity and residence, last pay slip and two recent passport size photographs and documents as mentioned in the application Format and working experience on the proforma will be required.

The Indian Railways' quadrilateral linking the four metropolitan cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Howrah, commonly known as the Golden Quadrilateral ; and its two diagonals (Delhi-Chennai and Mumbai-Howrah), adding up to a total route length of 10,122 km comprising of 16% of the route carried more than 52% of the passenger traffic and 58% of revenue earning freight traffic of IR. The existing trunk routes of Howrah-Delhi on the Eastern Corridor and Mumbai-Delhi on the Western Corridor were highly saturated, line capacity utilization varying between 115% to 150%. Railways lost the share in freight traffic from 83% in 1950-51 to 35% in 2011-12
