Eligibility Criteria for DFCCIL Recruitment 2026

Candidates must be regular officers from Central/State Govt. departments, PSUs, or autonomous bodies with minimum 50% Central Government stake.

1. General Manager (Mechanical)

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Extensive knowledge in Railway Mechanical Engineering (C&W Maintenance). Desirable: Safety & Disaster Management experience.
• Pay Scale Eligibility: Working in analogous grade (SA Grade Level 14) or SG Grade (Level 13) with 17 years Group 'A' service, or E8 Level with 20 years managerial service.

2. General Manager (Safety)

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in relevant discipline or Graduation for Operating dept.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in Safety Dept (Indian Railways/DFCCIL/PSUs). Sound knowledge of railway safety rules.

3. General Manager (Law)

• Education: Full-time regular Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) with min 50% marks. Distance/Part-time degrees not eligible.
• Experience: Experience in Arbitration, Industrial/Labour Law, Litigation, and Contractual disputes.

4. Deputy General Manager (IT)

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT/Electronics or MCA.
• Experience: Expertise in Networking, Application Development, or Cloud Hosting. Familiarity with public procurement.

General Conditions

• Age Limit: Max 57 years for E-8 Level; Max 55 years for E-5 Level (as on 01.05.2026).
