Educational Qualification: Retired Staff
DFCCIL requires dynamic, experienced and result oriented retired employees of Indian Railways/retired employees of DFCCIL for need based re-engagement in various departments of EDFC and WDFC of DFCCIL on re-employment/ Consultant basis. To meet the immediate requirement of manpower, the Company invites applications from retired employees of various departments of Indian Railways and retired employees of various department of DFCCIL to form need based panel through walk-in-interview.
a) Name of the Post: Retired Employees
b) Qualifcation:
i) Civil -
1. Railway employees having sufficient experience of working of Civil Engineering department(for construction/ maintenance of Track/P-Way, Bridges, Buildings works etc.) retired from CDA Scale Level-7 upto the level-12 (JAG).
2. The retired employees of DFCCIL/IDA scale can also apply.
3. Further, retired employees having experience of working as Safety Counsellor in Indian Railways retired from CDA scale, Level-6 upto the level-13(SG) will be eligible and can apply.
ii) Mechanical -
1. Railway employees having sufficient experience of working of carriage & wagon Loco, EMU, MEMU, DMU Electrical Maintenance of train lighting and AC Coaches and Inspection Carriage(RA) and retired from CDA Scale Level-4 to level-7, JE/SSE, MCM/Sr. Technician, Technician Grade-I/Technician Grade-II & Grade -Ill) can also apply.
2. The employees retired as Loco pilots (DSL and Electric) can also apply who will be required for working as Loco Pilot Shunters. Employees who have worked as crew Controller, PRC and Control can also apply.
3. Employees who have retired from Level-4 to Level-7 and having experience of working in running room, crew lobby, RDI can also apply.
4. The retired employees of DFCCIL/IDA scale can also apply.
5. Further, retired employees having experience of working as Safety Counsellor in Indian Railways retired from CDA scale, Level-6 upto the level- 13(SG) will be eligible and can apply.
iii) Electrical -
1. Railway employees having sufficient experience of working of TRD/GEN SERVICE/OPERATION wings of electrical department with following eligibility: (i). Retired from CDA scale level-5 and level-6 of Tower Wagon driver/ Loco Pilot. (ii). TRD/GEN service employee retired from Level-5 upto level- 13(SG-Grade).
2. The retired employees of DFCCIL/IDA scale can also apply.
3. Further, retired employees having experience of working as Safety Counsellor in Indian Railways retired from CDA scale, Level-6 upto the level- 13(SG) will be eligible and can apply.
iv) S&T -
1. Railway employees having sufficient experience of working of S&T department retired from CDA Scale Level-7 upto the Level- 12(JAG).
2. The retired employees of DFCCIL/IDA scale can also apply.
3. Further, retired employees having experience of working as Safety Counsellor in Indian Railways retired from CDA scale, Level-6 upto the level- 13(SG) will be eligible and can apply.
v) OB&BD -
1. Railway employees having sufficient experience of working of Traffic department retired from CDA Scale Level-6 upto the Level-13 (SG).
2. Employees retired from Commercial department with experience of working in Goods are also eligible.
3. Further, retired employees having experience of working as Safety Counsellor in Indian Railways retired from CDA scale, Level-6 upto the level- 13(SG) will be eligible and can apply.
c) Duration: The selected candidates will be placed on the panel and will be re- employed/deployed based on requirement, initially for a period of one year, which can be extended as per the requirements/ performance of the retired employee and at the sole discretion of company i.e DFCCIL. The re-employment can be terminated pre- maturely on one month's notice by either side.
d) Remuneration: The pay of the retired employees will be fixed in terms of HR Policy Circular No. 29/2019 dated - 01.10.2019. As per the existing policy basic remuneration of the re-employed employee(s) in CDA scale will be fixed after deduction of pension from the last pay drawn at the time of superannuation/ retirement, where pension is drawn plus applicable CDA. Entitlement for Conveyance allowance and Mobile charges will be governed as per DFCCIL's policy. Similarly, in the case of retied employees in IDA scale the pay will be fixed @ 50% of last basic pay drawn applicable IDA. No other allowance is admissible. In case of travel on duty, TA/DA/Lodging as admissible to the regular employees of equivalent level to which retired employee is re-employed, will be admissible.

Age Limit: As per HR policy, the re-employed employees will be allowed to work upto the maximum age limit of 65 years. Preference will be given to retired employees from Indian Railways below 62 years of age & with good health.
Selection Procedure
1. Through the process of Walk-in-Interview for forming a panel against the above mentioned posts on re-employment basis which will be held on date and location.
2. The retired railway employees fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned at Para-3 above may report to the above mentioned office for walk-in-interview on the dates and time indicated against location. The applications of retired Railway employees will be checked by the officials of DFCCIL and only those retired employees who will be fulfilling the criteria as per the advertisement and on producing of necessary documents viz. Service Certificate/PPO(as per 7th CPC) and other relevant documents (self-certified copies of the documents) will be allowed for interview.
3. Those candidates suffering from COVID-19 or COVID-19 like symptoms, will not be allowed for interview.
4. Medical Examination: The selected candidates will be issued offer of appointment as per requirement. They will have to undergo Medical examination / health check-up and will be considered for re-employment only if they are found medically fit, in addition to fulfilling other criteria.
How to Apply:
1. Retired employees from Indian Railways fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down above, should bring with them duly filled in prescribed proforma enclosing therewith self-attested photocopies of the requisite documents i.e. PPO (as per 7th CPC), Service Certificate, Last Pay Slip, Aadhar card, Blank Cheque/Copy of Bank Passbook & two photograph etc.
2. The retired employees shall have to produce original Service Certificate/ PPO and other documents for verification in original at the time of interview. The candidates will not be allowed for interview, if they don't bring the documents on the date of interview. If any of the particulars stated by the retired Railway employee is found that he has willfully suppressed any material fact/ information relevant to the consideration of his/her case without prejudice to any other action that may be taken in concurrence thereof his/her candidature will be summarily rejected and will not be interviewed.
3. In addition, the proof of identity and residence, last pay slip and two recent passport size photographs and documents as mentioned in the application Format and working experience on the proforma will be required.
