Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur (DLJ) has invited applications for the recruitment of Research Associate and Junior Research Fellow on a temporary basis. This is a walk-in interview opportunity for qualified candidates with B.Tech/B.E, M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech, M.Phil/Ph.D qualifications. The interviews are scheduled to be held on 25th and 26th February 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Research Associate (Physics)

• Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Physics or equivalent degree OR Postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Physics with 3 years of Research/Teaching/Design & Development experience after post-graduation, with at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) Journal.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of interview.
• Experience: 3 years of experience required for postgraduate candidates.

Eligibility for Junior Research Fellow (Chemistry)

• Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry with first division and National Eligibility Test (NET) qualification conducted by CSIR-UGC (NET), MHRD (GATE) or JEST.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years as on the date of interview.

Eligibility for Junior Research Fellow (Physics)

• Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Physics with first division and National Eligibility Test (NET) qualification conducted by CSIR-UGC (NET), MHRD (GATE) or JEST.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years as on the date of interview.

Eligibility for Junior Research Fellow (Electronics & Communication)

• Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in professional course (B.E./B.Tech.) in Electronics & Communication in first division with NET/GATE qualification OR Postgraduate degree (M.E./M.Tech.) in professional courses in Electronics & Communication in first division at both graduate and postgraduate level.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years as on the date of interview.
