Selection Process

The selection consists of three stages:

  1. Preliminary Exam (Objective): 150 marks, 150 MCQs, 2 hours, 25% negative marking. Qualifying stage.
  2. Mains Exam (Written): Four papers totaling 750 marks. Minimum 45% in each paper and 50% aggregate for General; 40% per paper and 45% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD.
  3. Viva-Voce: 250 marks. Minimum 50% for General, 45% for reserved. Final merit based on Mains + Viva aggregate.
