Research Officer

Number of Vacancy: 1 Posts
Educational Qualification: Masters degree in Economics or Applied Economics or Business Economics or Econometrics from a recognised University or institute; or Masters degree in Mathematics or Statistics with at least one paper in Economics from a recognised University or institute.
Experience: Three years experience in the field ofresearch, investigation, collection, compilation, interpretation and analysis of statistical data.
Pay Scale:
INR
56100-177500/- Per Month
Age Limit: 56 years.

Applications received after the due date or without the complete and up to date Confidential/Annual Performance Appraisal Reports, Integrity Certificate or Major/Minor penalty statement or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered. While forwarding the application(s) it may be verified and certified that the particulars furnished by the officer(s) in his/their application(s) is/are correct and that no disciplinary case is pending or contemplated against the officer(s).

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) was founded in 1995 and later expanded in 2000 through the merger with the Department of Industrial Development. Operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, DPIIT is tasked with the development and execution of policies and strategies aimed at fostering the growth of the industrial sector. Its responsibilities are aligned with the nation's overarching priorities and socio-economic goals, ensuring that the industrial advancement it promotes is both sustainable and inclusive.
Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade was established in the year 1995, and in the year 2000 Department of Industrial Development was merged with it. It is working under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. This department is responsible for formulation and implementation of promotional and developmental measures for growth of the industrial sector, keeping in view the national priorities and socio-economic objectives.
