Department of Medical Health & Family Welfare (DHFW) Rajasthan, was established under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and Ministry of Medical Education to provide comprehensive public Health Services to its people, and deliver system consisting of curative preventive, promotive and rehabilitation health care to the people of State.

The main objective of Department of Medical Health & Family Welfare (DHFW) is to provide facilities to primary health care institutions covering wide range of communicable diseases like, Malaria, Filaria, Tuberculosis, Cholera and several other vaccine preventable diseases are Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus, Polio, Measles and Cholera & Non communicable Diseases. By providing facilities in line with the approved plan, monitor and take corrective action and carry out independent impact assessment studies to provide quality health status to the rural population of State.
