Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

For Deputation/Absorption (Department of Posts):

• Regular Dispatch Riders (Group-C) or MTS (Group-C) in Pay Matrix Level-1 (₹18,000 - ₹56,900).
• Must possess valid driving license for Light and Heavy Motor Vehicles (LMV & HMV).
• Must qualify the Driving/Trade Test.

For Other Ministries (Deputation):

• Regular Group-C employees in Pay Matrix Level-1.
• Valid LMV & HMV driving license.
• Knowledge of motor mechanism (minor defect fixing).
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• 10th Standard pass from a recognized board.
• Desirable: 3 years as Home Guard or Civil Volunteer.

For Armed Forces Personnel (Re-employment):

• Due to retire/transfer to reserve within 1 year.
• Possess required driving qualifications.

Age Limit

Maximum age: 56 years as on closing date of application.

Selection Process & Syllabus

Candidates will be shortlisted based on Driving Test and Trade Test as per official guidelines:

• Stage I (Theory): General Knowledge, Arithmetic, Reasoning, Motor Mechanism, Traffic Rules.
• Stage II (Practical): Driving skills, minor repairs, wheel changing.
