Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Shipping Master & Director

  • Essential Qualification: Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
  • Experience: 7 years' experience in a supervisory capacity in administration and establishment matters.
  • Deputation Eligibility (Any of the following):
    1. Holding analogous post on regular basis.
    2. With five years' regular service in the posts on the scale of Rs. 2200-4000/- or equivalent.
    3. With 7/8 years' regular service in posts in the scale of Rs. 2375-3500/2000-3500/- or equivalent.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Note: Departmental officers in the feeder category in the direct line of promotion are not eligible. Deputationists shall not be eligible for appointment by promotion.
