Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Grade 03

• Essential Qualification:
  • Passed (10+2) examination from a recognized education board OR old higher secondary examination passed along with the first year of graduation from a recognized university.
  • One year diploma/certificate in Data Entry Operator/Programming from a recognized institution.
  • Typing Speed: 5000 key depressions per hour in Hindi typing on computer (Skill test will be conducted).
  • Stenography: Certificate in Hindi or English stenography at 5000 key depression per hour through computer and software from a recognized board/institution or Chhattisgarh Shorthand and Typewriting Examination Council (Skill test will be conducted).
• Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026): 18 to 35 years. (Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC, Ex-servicemen, Women, and Differently-abled as per Govt. rules).
• Residency: Candidate must be an original resident of Chhattisgarh and have live registration in the Chhattisgarh State Employment Office.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the following stages:

1. Merit List: Based on marks obtained in the prescribed educational qualification.
2. Document Verification: Provisional list of 10 times the number of vacancies category-wise.
3. Skill Test: Computer proficiency and skill test (Typing/Stenography).
4. Final Merit: Total 100 marks (80 marks for educational qualification + 20 marks for skill test). Minimum 8 marks required in the skill test.
