Eligibility Criteria – Stenographer Grade-III Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualification

• Passed 2nd PUC (12th standard) OR 3-year Diploma in Commercial Practice OR equivalent.
• Senior Grade Shorthand and Typewriting qualifications in both Kannada and English from Department of Public Instruction or equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge mandatory.

Age Limit (as on last date of application)

Minimum age: 18 years. Additional relaxation for government servants, widows, ex-servicemen, disabled as per Karnataka Civil Services Rules.

Salary Structure – Stenographer Grade-III

Selected candidates will receive pay scale of ₹44,425 - ₹83,700 per month (Pay Level as per 7th CPC). Benefits include National Pension Scheme (NPS).

Pay progression: ₹44,425 - 1125 - 47,800 - 1250 - 52,800 - 1375 - 58,300 - 1500 - 64,300 - 1650 - 74,200 - 1900 - 83,700.
