Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, M.E/M.Tech
Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Junior /Senior Research Fellow to work in a Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, Core Research Grant (CRG) sponsored research project titled “Design, development and control of a three-joint string-tube actuated finger prosthetic system for position or force trajectories at the tip” in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Jalandhar.
1. Name of the position: JRF/SRF
2. No. of positions available: One (01)
3. Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship:
a) JRF: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA
b) SRF: Rs. 35,000/- + HRA
4. Duration: Initial appointment is for one year, which is extendable up to 3 years or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier.
5. Essential qualifications:
a) JRF: BE/B.Tech (Mechanical or relevant branch) and ME/M.Tech in (Mechanical/ Design/ Robotics or relevant branch). The candidate should have qualified GATE at least once in the academic career and should have good knowledge of bond graph modeling, SolidWorks, NI LabVIEW system, working with microcontrollers and exposure towards the development of mechatronics/robotics hardware.
b) SRF: Qualifications prescribed for JRF with two years of research experience
Pay Scale: INR 31000 - 35000(Per Month)
