Applications are invited from eligible candidates for four posts of Field Assistant as per the details given below for the PSCST Chandigarh funded project under the Project Coordinator (Dr Jagdeep Kaur, Department of Computer Science and Engineering). The details of online interview for the shortlisted candidates will be informed through email.
1. Project: Title Setting up Science & Technology Innovation cell in Jalandhar
2. Post Name: Field Assistants
3. No. of Post: 04
4. Department: Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIT Jalandhar
5. Essential Qualification: B.Sc./ 3 years Diploma in Engineering & Technology
6. Desirable Local candidates who is conversant with local language and having experience in survey related jobs
7. Job Responsibilities: Field Survey in Villages/Industries in Jalandhar. Documentation and Project related task as assigned by the Project Coordinator.
8. Salary Rs 20,000 + HRA as per institute norms
9. Duration Initial appointment will be up to 31st March 2022, extendable solely based on the sponsoring organization’s guidelines.
Pay Scale: INR 20000(Per Month)
Age Limit:As Per Rules Age
Selection Procedure
The Candidate will be selected on the basis of merit, performance in interview and according to the need of the project.

4. This post is purely on temporary basis. The Institute reserves the right to accept application at any time, and consider candidates of exceptional credentials. Qualification and experience may be relaxed by the Institute at any point of time for otherwise exceptional candidates. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
