Note: For the Radiology department, interviews will be held on a daily basis with effect from 15/10/2026 (except Saturday and Sunday) until the vacant posts are filled.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Educational Qualification

• Senior Resident: MBBS with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma / DNB in the concerned specialty from a recognized University / Institution. Candidate must have valid registration with the Delhi Medical Council.

Experience Requirement

• Candidates must not have completed 03 years of Senior Residency in any recognized institution (including regular and ad-hoc period).
• In case of non-availability of PG candidates, a minimum of 03 years' experience in the concerned specialty may be considered as per the residency scheme.

Age Limit & Relaxations

• Upper Age Limit: 45 years for General category candidates.
• OBC: 3 years relaxation
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
• Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan): 5 years additional relaxation

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection will be based on a direct Walk-in Interview conducted before the interview board at DHAS Hospital, Karkardooma.
• Candidates must report for registration at the Establishment Branch, DHAS Hospital, Karkardooma, Delhi between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM on the interview date.
• Appointment is subject to medical fitness and verification of certificates/testimonials.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview.

Contract Duration & Job Nature

• The initial appointment will be for a period of 44 days, which may be extended up to a maximum period of 3 years (with a 1-day break after every 44 days).
• The total tenure of Senior Residents is for a period of 3 years, including any service rendered as Senior Residents earlier on ad-hoc/regular basis in any recognized institution.
• This is a contractual / temporary appointment and not a permanent government cadre post.
