Applications are invited for OSD (Security) on Contract for a period of 03 years from the date of joining in the Dr Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa. 1. Post name : OSD (Security) 2. No of Post : 01 3. Consolidated & Fixed Emoluments : Last Pay drawn at the time of retirement minus Pension receiving 4. Required Qualification : Essential: At least a retired Lt. Colonel or above Rank Officer from any of the three wings of the Indian Armed Forces. a) Basic & Operational Knowledge of Computer b) Ability to adjust with working hours which can be erratic & often relate to the nature of your role and responsibilities. c) Having analytical skills. d) Ability to wear multiple hats like self confidence, tact fullness, ethics and integrity, etc. e) Ability to plan, organise and priorities work to coordinate the work with students and educators. Good health without any Disability.

Dr Rajendra Prasad Central Agriculture University was originally established as India's first ever Imperial Agriculture Research Institute.
The University was established on the 1st of April, 1905. What remained was downgraded to an agricultural research station until December 3, 1970, when the government of Bihar established Rajendra Agricultural University.
On 11 May 2016 Parliament of India passed the Central University Bill so that RAU, Pusa has been upgraded to central University and named as Dr Rajendra Prasad Central Agriculture University.
There are 5 faculties in Rajendra Agricultural University Pusa, Bihar in the disciplines of Agriculture, Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Agricultural Engineering, Basic Sciences, Humanities & Home Science, besides the college of agriculture, fisheries and institute of dairy technology. The university offers undergraduate degree programmes, postgraduate programmes and eighteen PhD programmes. It is also the only university to provide an MBA in Agribusiness programme.
