1. Name of the Project: DST-SERB Funded project "Evaluation of immune-enhancing polysaccharides of edible chlorophytan seaweed Ulva lactuca (sea-lettuce) and development of functional polysaccharide nanoparticle"

2. Name of the Post: Project Associate I

3. No of Post: 01

4. Nature of the post and duration: Purely temporary for 3 year from the date of recruitment, or the termination of the project, whichever is earlier

5. Salary:

(i) 31,000/- per month + 8% HRA = 33,480/-to scholars selected through (a) NET-CSIR/UGC NET including lecturership or GATE or

(b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Govt departments and their agencies/institutions

(ii) 25,000/- per month + 8% HRA = 27,000/- who are not NET/CSIR-UGC qualified, and do not fall under the above (Vide 0M No. SB/S9/Z-07/2020 dated 25th August 2020)

7. Essential:

Minimum qualification of Master's Degree in Biotechnology/ Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Virology/ Animal Biotechnology/ Genetics discipline with an experience in research in Life science laboratories supported by project document/s. The candidate should have hands on experience in chromatographic/spectroscopic, animal cell culture, molecular biology and animal handling techniques.

8. Desirable: Basic and applied knowledge in Biotechnology and hands on experience in R&D laboratories.
