Educational Qualification: DM/MCH/PG/DNB/Diploma, in concern Specialty from a recognized university, registered in MCI or State Medical Council. (For ICU PG/DNB/Diploma in Medicine/Anesthesia Department, & For NICU, PG/DNB/Diploma in Pediatrics department). The initial appointment will be for one year & will be extended on a yearly basis for a maximum total of 03 years subject to a satisfactory work performance report by the concerned.

The promulgation of Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948(ESI Act), by the Parliament was the first major legislation on social Security for workers in independent India. According to this scheme employees earning Rs 15000 or less / month, employer will contribute 4.75 % and employee contributes 1.75 %, total share 6.5 %. The Employee State Insurance corporation was enacted in 1948.
