Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Dental College & Hospital, Kalaburagi has announced a recruitment drive for 05 posts of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Professor

• Essential: A BDS Degree of an Indian University or an equivalent qualification along with Post Graduate qualification in the respective subject.
• Experience: 5 years teaching experience as Associate Professor in a recognized Dental College in the concerned specialty with publication points as per DCI guidelines.

Eligibility for Associate Professor

• Essential: A Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery from an Indian University with Masters in Dental Surgery recognized by the Government of India.
• Experience: Four years of teaching experience in the specialty after post-graduation, and shall have to acquire minimum points for publications as per DCI guidelines.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor

• Essential (Dental): A Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery from an Indian University with Masters in Dental Surgery recognized by the Government of India in the specialty.
• Essential (Medical): MBBS with MD in Physiology from Recognized Medical Institution OR M.Sc (Medical Physiology) with PhD in medical Physiology from Recognized Institution.
• Experience (Medical): One year experience as a Senior Resident in the concerned department.

Salary/Stipend

• Professor: Rs. 2,34,630/-
• Associate Professor: Rs. 1,56,024/-
• Assistant Professor: Rs. 1,34,046/-
• In addition, TA with DA on TA per month as per rules. DA on TA will be revised from time to time.

Age Limit

• Maximum age limit is Below 65 years as on the date of interview.
• Age relaxation is applicable to reserved candidates as per Central Government rules.
• No age relaxation would be available to SC/ST candidates applying for Unreserved vacancies.

Important Dates

Selection Process

• Selection will be made on the basis of an interview conducted by a duly constituted selection board.
• 50% of the total marks would be considered as the criteria for eligibility for selection.
• The final selection will be based purely on performance in the walk-in-interview only.
• Selected candidates will have to join immediately after receipt of the Offer of Appointment.

How to Apply

• Candidates should report by 9:00 AM at the venue on 09.01.2026.
• Bring filled Application Forms (enclosed with the advertisement), original set of certificates, one set of self-attested photocopies, two passport size photographs, and relevant certificates.
• Required Documents: SSLC/10th standard certificate (Proof of age), BDS/MDS Certificate, Internship Completion Certificate, Registration with State Dental Council (latest renewal), Caste Certificate (if applicable), Experience & Relieving Certificates, NOC (if working), Aadhar Card.
• Fee Payment: A Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- (if applicable) in favour of "ESIC Fund Account No.1" payable at "Kalaburagi" has to be submitted at the time of the Walk-in-interview.
