Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)
1. Educational Qualification
- Required Degree: Bachelor's or Post Graduate degree in Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering / Electronics or equivalent engineering stream. Alternatively, MCA from a recognized university.
- Preferred: Additional qualifications like MBA (IT/Project Management), M.Tech, or relevant OEM certifications (Cisco, VMware, Cybersecurity certs like CISSP, ISO 27001).
2. Working Experience
- Project Director: Minimum 20 years of experience.
- Leads (IT Ops, Cyber Sec, Vendor, Infra, Apps, Network): Minimum 12 years of experience.
- Engineers/Specialists: Minimum 6 years of experience.
- Experience must be in enterprise IT, cyber security, infrastructure, or applications. Preference for PSU/Govt./regulated sectors (BFSI/Telecom). Training/teaching experience is not counted.
3. Age Limit
- Age as on: 16 March 2026 (This is the cut-off date for calculating age).
- Minimum Age: 18 Years.
- Maximum Age: 62 Years.
- Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Govt. of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen.
4. Additional Requirements
- Nationality: Indian Nationals only.
- Status: Must not have any existing employer-employee relationship with ESIC.
- Willingness to serve anywhere in India is mandatory.
- Declaration of no conflict of interest or criminal cases.
