Skills / Eligibility
ESIC Hospital & ODC(EZ),Joka invites application for immediate engagement of Part Time/Full Time Super Specialist in different department of ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College, Joka. In case of Full time/Part Time Super Specialist, the engagement will be for a minimum period of three years or till regular incumbent joins or attaining 70 years of age, whichever is earlier. The contract would be extendable yearly based on satisfactory performance. 1. Post Name: Part/ Full Time Super Specialist 2. No of Posts: 11 3. Educational Qualifications: a. .Super Specialist (Senior Consultant): i. A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956). ii. Post -graduate degree in the concerned speciality mentioned iii. Eleven years’ experience in recognized institution in the concerned speciality after obtaining the first Post Graduate Degree in the respective discipline/subject Or Ten years’ experience in recognized institution in the concerned speciality for the candidates possessing 6 years recognized degree of M.Ch/DM in the respective discipline/subject b. Super Specialist (Entry Level): i. A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956) ii. Post -graduate degree in the concerned speciality mentioned iii. Five years’ experience in recognized institution in the concerned speciality after obtaining the first Post Graduate Degree in the respective discipline/subject Note 1 :In the case of holders of D.M./M.Ch. qualification of five years’ duration, the period of senior PG residency rendered in the last part of the said D.M. / M.Ch. shall be counted towards requirement of five years’ experience 4. Remuneration for Full Time Contractual Super Specialist: a. Super Specialist (Entry Level) - Rs. 2,00,000/- (Consolidated remuneration) per month. No other allowances in any form shall be admissible. b. Consultant (Senior Level) - Rs. 2,40,000/- (Consolidated remuneration) per month. No other allowances in any form shall be admissible. c. Part Time Super Specialist(Entry Level): Rs.1,00,000/- d. Part Time Super Specialist(Senior Level): Rs.1,50,000/- 5. Advt. No. 02/2022

Selection Procedure
i. The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidate in interview before the Selection Board.
ii. Result will be published on web-site: www.esic.nic.in.
iii. The candidates found eligible on basis of application and document verification shall be called for interview through e-mail only.
How to Apply:
1. The candidate should check his/her eligibility against the advertised criteria for each post before applying. Interested candidates should send filled in Application Form and enclosing necessary self-attested copies of certificates, as mentioned below, through email to [email protected] to become eligible for appearing in the Interview.
2. The name of the eligible candidate and tentative date, time, and venue of interview will be communicated in the respective email-id of the eligible candidate as well as they will be asked to appear in the Interview on the date mentioned in the Interview Call Letter to be sent by email only.
3. The following testimonials/certificates should be sent through email: [email protected] along with the application form by 07.03.2022
a) One set of the prescribed application form enclosed with this notification must be printed on A4 size paper and properly filled up and submitted at the time of verification on the day of the interview.
b) Two copies of recent self-attested color passport size photograph.
c) One set of self-attested copies of certificates and testimonials in support of (i) proof of age (Date of Birth), (ii) Category (SC & ST), Category OBC & EWS in updated Government of India Format, Sub-category,
(iii) Educational Qualifications: (Matriculation, Higher Secondary, Graduate, Post Graduate, & any other),
(iv) Registration certificate issued by State Medical Council/MCI, (v) NOC for in-service candidate from employer,
(vi) Service bond release certificate if applicable along with Original documents
4. The interviews shall be conducted at ESI-PGIMSR, ESIC Medical College, and ESIC Hospital & ODC(EZ), Joka, Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata 700104. However, ESIC reserve the right to change the center, if needed.
Important Instructions:
i. Mere submission of application does not confer any right to the candidate to be interviewed.
ii. Application should be submitted in the prescribed format only. The applications found to be incomplete will be summarily rejected.
iii. Wrong declarations/ submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.
iv. Opportunity of interview given to candidates will be on provisional basis.
v. The interviews shall be conducted at ESI-PGIMSR, ESIC Medical College and ESIC Hospital & ODC(EZ), Joka, Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata 700104. However, ESIC reserve the right to change the centre, if needed.
vi. The ESIC reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage at its discretion and such decision will be binding on all concerned.
