- Ph.D. in Physics / Experimental Condensed Matter Physics / Material Science / Nanotechnology.

- At least second class Master's degree in any branch of Chemistry / Material Science / Environmental Science / Physics / Life Science.
- Minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
