Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Engineering Graduates (Graduate Apprentice): B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Safety Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Administration Graduates: BBA for Administration / HR category.
  • Commerce Graduates: B.Com for Financial Accounting / Cost Accounting category.
  • Library Science Graduates: B.Lib.Sc for Library Science category.
  • Diploma Holders (Technician Apprentice): Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Cinematography, or Medical Laboratory Technology.
  • Passing Year: Only candidates who passed their qualifying examination in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible. Candidates who passed before 2022 are not eligible.
  • Regular Mode Only: Candidates who completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates only. Distance education and part-time candidates are not eligible.
  • Experience Restriction: Candidates who have completed one year or more of training or job experience after obtaining their essential qualification are not eligible.
  • Higher Qualification Restriction: Candidates holding higher qualifications than the prescribed requirement are not eligible.
  • NATS Registration: Mandatory. All candidates must register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal and provide their enrollment number. Non-registered candidates will likely be rejected.
  • Minimum Age: 18 years. Maximum age and relaxations governed by the Apprentices Act 1961, Apprenticeship Rules 1992, and applicable NATS 2.0 / NAPS guidelines.
  • CGPA Conversion: Marks must be provided as percentage; CGPA should be converted as per the university's conversion formula.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  1. Shortlisting: ITR reserves the right to determine the shortlisting method based on qualification, passing year, and NATS registration status. Meeting minimum qualification alone does not guarantee shortlisting.
  2. Written Test / Personal Interview / Both: Shortlisted candidates may be called for a written test, personal interview, or both, as decided by ITR.
  3. Document Verification: Selected candidates must produce original documents for verification before the apprenticeship contract is executed.
  4. Medical Fitness Certificate: Required at the time of joining.
  5. Call Letters: Written test and interview call letters will be communicated via the official website or email. Candidates must download and print their call letters themselves.
  6. TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates called at any stage of the selection process.
  7. Accommodation: Government quarters, hostel, and transport will not be provided during any stage.
