Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

Only serving officers from Central/State Government, UTs, PSUs, Universities, and Autonomous Bodies are eligible. Fresh/direct candidates cannot apply.

Post-Wise Qualification & Experience

• Senior Private Secretary (Level 08): Holding an analogous post OR 2 years regular service in Level 06.
• Assistant Manager (IT) (Level 07): Analogous post OR 5 years service in Level 06; Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech in CS/IT, MCA, or Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
• Assistant (Level 06): Analogous post OR 10 years service in Level 04; Qualification: Bachelor's Degree + 3 years experience in admin/HR.
• Junior Assistant Grade-I (Level 04): Analogous post OR 8 years service in Level 02; Qualification: 12th Pass from recognized board.

Pay Scale (7th CPC) for FSSAI Deputation 2026

Note: Deputation pay is governed by DoPT O.M. dated 17th June 2010. IDA pay scale equivalency is provided in the official notification.
