Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- Essential Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in the relevant disciplines (Chemical, Petrochemical, Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) from a recognized University/Institute.
- Minimum Marks:
- General/EWS/OBC (NCL): Minimum 65% marks (or equivalent CGPA).
- SC/ST/PwBD: Minimum 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA).
- Passing Year: Candidates must have completed their degree in 2025 or be in the final year (2025-26) of their course.
- Course Type: Only Full-time Regular courses approved by AICTE/UGC are accepted. Correspondence/Open degrees are not eligible.
- GATE 2026 Score: Valid registration and appearance in GATE 2026 in the relevant paper code (CH, IN, EE, ME) is mandatory.

Selection Process
The selection process for GAIL Executive Trainee 2026 involves multiple stages:
