4. Essential:

(i) At least 2nd Class Master’s degree in Indian History of a recognised University or equivalent.

(ii) Some experience of research in Modern Indian History/teaching of Modern Indian History in a University or College/work in an Archival Office.

(iii) Degree in Portuguese or Curso Complementar of Arts/Science from Lyceum.

5. Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Archival Science. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

4. Essential:

(i) Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Marine or Automobile Engineering of a recognized University/Institute.

(ii) 5 years of experience for degree holders and 6 years of experience for diploma holders in maintenance/overhauling and repairs of marine/auto diesel engines/hull repairs etc. in a reputed Shipyard/Marine Workshop and also in a Port Operations and Establishment in any State of India.

(iii) Knowledge of Port Operations under the International Ships and Port Security code, the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958(Act No. 44 of 1958) and the Indian Ports Act, 1908(Act No. 15 of 1908)

(iv) Knowledge of Swimming (v) Knowledge of Konkani

5. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
