Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Professor

• Essential: An eminent scholar with Ph.D. in Demography/ Population Studies/ Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics/ Sociology/ Psychology/ Anthropology or Geography and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of ten (10) research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 of the UGC Notification dated July 18, 2018.
• Experience: Refer to official notification
• Desirable: Refer to official notification

Eligibility for Research Fellow-I

• Essential: At least 2nd Class Post Graduate degree in Demography/ Population Studies / Statistics / Economics/ Mathematics / Sociology / Public Health from recognized Institution/University.
• Experience: Four years of experience post qualification (i.e. after post-graduation). /Ph.D. Relaxable in deserving cases.
• Desirable: Refer to official notification

Eligibility for Upper Division Clerk (UDC)

• Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Experience: Refer to official notification
• Desirable: Preferably adequate knowledge of computers (Statistical Software) and experience in Accounts and multi-skilled functionaries.
