Eligibility for Peon

• Essential Qualification: Minimum educational qualification is class-VIII standard; and those who have passed HSSLC or above shall be ineligible to apply for the said post.
• Desirable Qualification: Candidates possessing special skills like Plumbing, Electrician and Driving may be given preference.

Age Limit

• General: 18 to 40 years (as on 01-01-2026)
• Relaxation: 5 years for ST/SC (up to 45 years), 3 years for OBC/MOBC (up to 43 years)

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on merit through an Interview (viva-voce) at their own expense.

Eligible candidates must apply in the Standard Form of Application (Published in the Gazette Part IX of Govt. of Assam) superscribing the name of the post on the envelope.
