Skills / Eligibility
Applications in the prescribed format are invited for Teaching Personnel in the various departments/disciplines of College of Technology for II Semester 2021-22
1. Post Name: Teaching Personnel
2. No of post: 22
3. Qualifications: With details: For Engineering Subjects Master's degree with at least 60% marks or equivalent in the point grading system in the subject concerned or related field with Bachelor's degree of Engineering/Technology in a concerned or related field.
4. For Science and Humanities Subjects
a. Ph.D./Doctorate Degree in the subject concerned or related field.
b. Master s degree in the concerned discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent in the point scale system. A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and master's level for the Schedules Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled (Physically and visually differently-abled) candidate.
5. Salary : Rs 50000/- Per Month

Selection Procedure
1. The list of shortlisted candidates will be placed on the University website (gbpuat-tech.ac.in).The Short listed candidates have to make presentation in the subject and appear in interview on March 29 & 30, 2022 at 9.30 am (For the Engg. disciplines) and on March 31, 2022 at 9.30 am (For Sciences & Humanities disciplines) in the office of the Dean, College of Technology, Pantnagar.
2. The candidates should bring their original certificates and a set of attested copies with respect to academic qualifications, experience, publications, and category as applicable, indicated in the application form at the time of interview.
3. Number of seat in various departments/ disciplines may increase or decrease as per change in requirements.
4. The College further reserves the right not to fill any of the posts at its discretion without assigning any reason.
5.The candidates will be shortlisted based on marks for academic qualifications, experience and publications as per guidelines approved by the University.

About Govind Ballabh Pant University Agriculture and Technology
After independence, development of the rural sector was considered the primary concern of the Government of India. In 1949, with the appointment of the Radhakrishnan University Education Commission, imparting of agricultural education through the setting up of rural universities became the focal point. Later, in 1954 an Indo-American team led by Dr. K.R. Damle, the Vice-President of ICAR, was constituted that arrived at the idea of establishing a Rural University on the land-grant pattern of USA. As a consequence a contract between the Government of India,
Govind Ballabh Pant University Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) was established on 17th November 1960. It is located in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. It provides both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Agriculture.
