Applications are invited lör two positions of "Project Associate" (2 nos.) in a Department ot Biotechnology, Government of India. funded project entitled "Network Programme for enrichment and Update of Database on Genome Related Information 'Or Indian Spermatophyta and Archegoniate, taxa-Phase II"

1. Post Name: Project Associate

2. No of Posts: 02

3. Qualification: Project Associate (2 nos): Masters degree from any recognized university or Institute in Botany; Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics.'Life Sciences with minimum 55 %

4. Desirable qualification: Experience in plant taxonomical studies. data collection and in collection and analysis of genome-related information through review of the literature.

5. Additional preference will be given to candidates who have advanced computational skills.

6. Project duration: 3 years; position is co-terminus with the project Fellowship as per the sanction of DB I', Government of India.
