Educational Qualification:
Senior GIS Developer: Graduate or higher degree in Computers/Geospatialtechnology from any university/Professional Institution recognized by Government with experience in the GIS software’s development and applications customization. Minimum 5+years of experience.
Senior Developer: Graduate or higher degree in Computers with work experience in Software development. Minimum 3+years of experience.
Project Fellow: 1st class Master Degree in Remote Sensing/GIS/Geo-informatics/Geomatics/Geospatial Technology from a recognized university/Institute OR 1st class Master’s degree in Geography with one yearP.G. Diploma in Remote Sensing/GIS/Geospatial technology/Geo-informatics from a recognized university/ Institute.
Senior Software Development Officer: Graduateor higher degree in Computers from any university/Professional Institution recognized by Government with work experience in Software and GIS data development.
Junior Software Developer: Graduateor higher degree in Computers / IT / Geo-informatics from any university / Professional Institution recognized by Government. Minimum 1+ year of experience.
Team Lead: Minimum 3 years of research, teaching, design and development experience after 1st class M.Sc./MCA/ M.Tech. from a recognized university in Geo-informatics & Photogrammetry/Geospatial Sciences/ Computer Science / Mathematics/RS and GIS. OR Doctorate or equivalent degree from a recognized university in the relevant field. Two years’ experience after obtaining essential qualification. And At least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.
GIS Technician: 1st Class Master’s degree from a recognized university in Remote Sensing/GIS/Geo-Informatics & Photogrammetry/Geo- spatial Sciences / Computer Science / Mathematics. AND The candidates have cleared NET test – CSIR, UGC, NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE or should have cleared any National Level examination, such as DST/DBT/DOS/DAE/DRDO/ICAR/IISC etc.
