West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti will engage personnel for the position of Community Health Officer (CHO) under National Health Mission, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, purely on contractual basis. 1. Post Name: Community Health Officers (CHO) 2. Place of posting: SC-Suswasthya Kendra anywhere in the State of West Bengal. 3. Number of vacancies: 500 4. Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 20, 000.00 per month after posting in SC-SK In addition the CHOs will also get a maximum incentive of Rs 5000/ month as Performance Linked Incentives based on approved parameters. 5. Essential Qualifications: Passed GNM/ B. Sc. / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an institute recognised by West Bengal Nursing Council. They must have registration certificate/ provisional certificate from West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC). The candidate should be a resident of West Bengal and should be able to read, write and speak in Bengali. 6. Desirable criteria: Competency in MS Office & Internet Proficiency in Bengali & local language & dialect. 7. Posting in any SC-SK in any district of West Bengal will be based on merit cum choice counselling after successful completion of Cetificate Programme on Community Health.

1. Mode of selection: Written Test & Interview.
2. The candidate if found ineligible at any stage of the recruitment process will not be called for the subsequent stages of the selection process.
1. Eligible candidates should apply online in the prescribed format as given in the Department's website from 11 am of 03.02.2022 to Midnight of 15.02.2022 for the mentioned post. Only on-line applications will be accepted.
2. Only on-line Applications will be accepted. Applications forms not properly filled in or incomplete application forms are liable to be cancelled. If the online application details submitted by the applicant differ with the original testimonials, that application shall liable to be canceled.
3. If proper signature and photograph is not uploaded at the time of online application that application shall also liable to be canceled.
4. Hard copy/ print copy of the online registration_ form _(printed within the last date of online application), should be retained by all applicants for document verification purposes. Without a registration form, no candidates will be entertained for original testimonials verification by the authority. No need to send hard copv/ print copy of the online registration form by post.
