Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Contractual Teacher (Social Sciences)

• Essential Qualification:
  • Ph.D./NET in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
  • M.A. in Political Science/History/Geography/Economics/Sociology.
  • Minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) at the Master’s level.
  • UG in any discipline.
  • Applicant must possess a good academic record.
• Desirable Qualification:
  • Publications: At least 3 research publications in peer-reviewed/UGC CARE list journals.
  • Experience of coaching for UPSC/SPSC Civil Services Exams.
  • Qualified Any UPSC/SPSC Preliminary Group A exam in the past.
  • Ability to teach History, Polity, Economics, Geography, and other disciplines/topics for Preliminary and Mains exam of UPSC Civil Services.
  • Working knowledge of computer and other ICT mediums.

Eligibility for Contractual Teacher (Science)

• Essential Qualification:
  • Ph.D./NET in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
  • M.Sc. in Physics/Maths/Chemistry.
  • Minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) at the Master’s level.
  • UG in Sciences.
  • Applicant must possess a good academic record.
• Desirable Qualification:
  • Publications: At least 3 research publications in peer-reviewed/UGC CARE list journals.
  • Experience of coaching for UPSC/SPSC Civil Services Exams.
  • Qualified Any UPSC/SPSC Preliminary Group A exam in the past.
  • Ability to teach Science, Technology Environment, and other Sciences related disciplines/topics for Preliminary and Mains exam of UPSC Civil Services.
  • Working knowledge of computer and other ICT mediums.

Selection Process

The selection process may include a presentation at the time of the interview. If the number of applications is large, the university may restrict the number of candidates for the interview based on qualifications/experience higher than the minimum prescribed.
