Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Applications, as per the details given below are invited for filling up of temporary positions of Junior Research Fellow/Junior Project Fellow/Senior Project Fellow (03 Nos) under different ICFRE PLAN & EAP and being implemented in this institute.
i. The positions to be filled up will be purely on temporary basis co-terminus with the projects. The temporary engagements are only project related, and will in no way confer any entitlement for claiming a permanent post/appointment in the Institute.
1. Title of the Project: FGR Characterization (Comp-D) Project Coordinator & Pl: Dr. Sandeep Sharma, Scientist-G
2. Period: Upto Mar, 2024
3. Title of Temporary Position: Junior Research Fellow Or Junior Project Fellow
4. No of Post: 01
5. Emoluments: 31000/- per month (fixed) or Rs. 20,000/- per month + HRA as adm issible
6. Essential: First Class M.Sc. in Forestry/ Agriculture/ Botany
7. Desirable: Preference will be given to having the candidate ex erince in relevent field

1. Candidates have to submit their application forms/ C.V. latest by 31-12-2021 through email, by post or by hand (giving details of Name, Date of birth, Father's Name, Permanent & Current Address, Educational qualification from High School/ Higher Secondary onwards with the name of Institution, Year of Passing, Marks obtained, Medium of study and field experience, with one passport size colour photograph affixed on it).
2., They are also requested to attach self- attested photocopies of all the testimonials along with the application.
3. The original mark-sheets, certificates, experience certificates etc are also required to be verified on the day of interview or in due course of time.
4. All the interested candidates and having required/ essential qualification may attend walk-in-interview on 04.01.2022 at 10.30 AM in the institute.

Himalayan Forest Research Institute (HFRI) Shimla, Himachal Pradesh was established in the year 1977 as high level conifer Regeneration Research Center by Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education, Government of India.
The prime objective of Institute is to cater forestry research, needs pertaining to Eco-rehabilitation of coniferous and broad leaved forest, They also conducting activities on management practices including insect-pests management in temperate forests and in alpine areas. The Institute enhance the popularization of forestry and other related extension activities in the State of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.
