Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for ITI Apprentices

• Essential Qualification: Passed 10th class or equivalent + passed prescribed regular full-time ITI training (1 or 2 years as per trade) under NCVT or SCVT in years 2023, 2024, or 2025. Must possess pass certificate on the date of application.
• Experience: No prior experience required. Freshers are eligible.
• Registration: Must be registered on apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and possess a valid registration number.
• Restrictions: Candidates pursuing or having completed Apprenticeship Training, students of COE (Centre of Excellence) Course, and those with Back paper/Supplementary results are not eligible.

Eligibility for Vocational (10+2) Apprentices

• Essential Qualification: Passed Intermediate (12th) examination in years 2023, 2024, or 2025 with concerned Vocational Trade subject.
• Experience: No prior experience required.
• Registration: Must be registered with Regional Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (RDSDE), Kanpur-208022.
• Restrictions: Candidates pursuing or having completed Apprenticeship Training are not eligible.

General Eligibility & Age Limit

• Nationality: Only Indian Nationals eligible.
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 27 years (as on 31 January 2026).
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD candidates in respective category.
• Reservation: Reservation for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PWD/HAL Employee ward as per Apprenticeship Act 1961.
• Documents: EWS certificate not older than 1 year, OBC(NCL) certificate not older than 3 years as on 31/03/2026.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on Merit. The merit list will be finalized with:

• 70% weightage to percentage obtained in High School.
• 30% weightage to percentage obtained in ITI (or Vocational subject as applicable).

Note: In case of CGPA result, equivalent percentage (correct to two decimal places) as per certified conversion formula of the board/council shall be used. Approximation not allowed.

2. Fill in complete and correct information.
