Educational Qualification: Chief Project Engineer: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
Medical Officer: a) MBBS Degree / Equivalent from a recognized University. b) Permanent Registration with Medical Council of India/State Medical Council
Nurse: a) Diploma in Nursing from an Institution recognized by Nursing Council of India. OR B.Sc (Nursing) from an Institution recognizedby Nursing Council of India.
b) Valid registration under the State Nursing Council
Project Officer : Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 60% of marks from a recognized University.
Experience: Chief Project Engineer : Minimum of 25 years post qualification experience in civil works out of which cumulative experience of 10 years in implementation of large infrastructure projects (Highways, railways, ports, shipyard, roads and bridge etc) through the
phases of concept, planning, launch, supervision, monitoring, commissioning, contractual .
Medical Officer : (a) Experience is not mandatory. (b) Experience preferably with Third Party Administrators (TPAs), in verification of Medical Bills
Nurse: Minimum three years post qualification clinical experience in any government or private hospital.
Project Officer : a) Experience/training in mechanical works related to projects, production or maintenance. b) b) Proficiency and experience of
working in a computerized Environment. c) Good communication skills and working knowledge in English/Hindi/Bengali.

The East Coast of India has throughout been the epicentre of Maritime activity and has been the beacon for the country as far as shipbuilding is concerned. Towards this CSL in its endeavour to further strengthen the shipbuilding sector in this region has taken on the age old legacy of Hooghly Dock and Port Engineers Ltd (HDPEL) who were the pioneers of ship building in the eastern cost of the country.
In the first phase of modernisation, CSL under the Jal Marg Vikas project of Ministry of Port, Shipping and Waterways has refurbished and restructured the unit into a modernized state of the art shipbuilding facility. With the technical and design support from CSL, which is one of the fastest growing shipyards in the country, HCSL is confident of meeting the demands of Inland, Costal and Sea going segment for very type of customers including the defence sector.
This unit meets the latest shipbuilding norms with in-house QA/QC, NDT, Fire & Safety and is equipped with sophisticated equipment with experienced work force to complete every task in a time bound manner. We have been allotted DPIIT Certification by the Ministry of Industries for Construction of Warships and IMS Certification (ISO 9001-2015-Quality Certification, ISO 14001-2015-Environment safety & ISO 45001-2018-Health and Safety Certification) from IRS. Our facility has an added advantage due to the strategic location supporting both end launching and side launching facility due to the extended riverfront.
