1. Post Name : Young Professional I 2. Essential qualification: Graduate with at least 60% marks in Computer application/ information / Computer Science/ Artificial Intelligence/ Software Engineering/Computer Graphics degree from a recognized university. 3. Salary : consolidated amount of per month Rs 25,000/- per month 4. Desirable : Working knowledge on Government e-Market Place (GeM), CPPP e-publishing, e-procurement, e-office. Knowledge on MIS/FMS system Experience in Web designing computer programming Working experience on open source Geo server and web map server. 5. No of Post : 01

Selection Procedure
1. The interview will be conducted by strictly Following COVID-19 guidelines given by the State Govt. of Sikkim and Govt. of India. All the candidates should follow the COVID- 19 guidelines as such, if any deviation will not be allowed to attend the interview.
2. No candidates will be allowed to enter ICAR-Sikkim Centre without wearing mask.

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is an autonomous organisation under the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare , Government of India. Formerly known as Imperial Council of Agricultural Research, it was established on 16 July 1929 as a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 in pursuance of the report of the Royal Commission on Agriculture. The ICAR has its headquarters at New Delhi. The Council is the apex body for co-ordinating, guiding and managing research and education in agriculture including horticulture, fisheries and animal sciences in the entire country. With 101 ICAR institutes and 71 agricultural universities spread across the country this is one of the largest national agricultural systems in the world. The ICAR has played a pioneering role in ushering Green Revolution and subsequent developments in agriculture in India through its research and technology development that has enabled the country to increase the production of foodgrains by 5.6 times, horticultural crops by 10.5 times, fish by 16.8 times, milk by 10.4 times and eggs by 52.9 times since 1950-51 to 2017-18, thus making a visible impact on the national food and nutritional security. It has played a major role in promoting excellence in higher education in agriculture. It is engaged in cutting edge areas of science and technology development and its scientists are internationally acknowledged in their fields.

Public Health/ Livestock Production Management/Gynaecology /specialization in relevant field & working knowledge in Computer application, B.Sc in Agriculture & Hort, Zoology/Botany/Biotechnology having experience in the relevant field of climatology, Master's Degree in concerned discipline, M.Tech in Poultry/Veterinary Science, Doctoral degree in any branch of agricultural / veterinary / related basic science or Master's degree + Knowledge of computer operation is essential, SAS, Doctoral Degree in relevant field of Agriculture /Horticulture / Animal Sciences / Fisheries including relevant basic sciences, B.Sc. in Agriculture/ Animal Science / Horticulture, M.V.Sc. (Bact/Virol/Microbiology/Path/Biochemistry/Biotechnology) or M.Sc. (Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology), LLB Degree, degree in Post Graduation in Biotechnology with Ph.D. degree in the relevant field; Bachelors Degree in Science, preferably Microbiology / Biotechnology / Zoology / Medical Lab Technology; Matriculation and Knowledge of Computer Professional efficiency, Matriculation + Proficiency in typewriting at a minimum speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi, Graduate, M.F.Sc. in Fisheries or M.Sc with Fisheries or Marine Fisheries as specialization, M.Tech in Civil Engineering / agricultural Engineering, Master's degree in Hindi with English as a subject at Degree level, for a great career at Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
