Eligibility & Experience:
- Essential: Distinguished experts with at least 20 years of service/experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position (e.g., Executive Director, CEO, President).
- Essential: Must be leaders who remain current with best practices and emerging technological trends.
- Essential: Must possess the skills to carry out duties and responsibilities similar to a regular Professor.
- Essential: Not open to those in the teaching profession (serving or retired).
- Flexible: A formal academic qualification may not be considered essential if the candidate has exemplary professional practice in lieu.
Skills:Leadership, industry-academia collaboration, curriculum development, teaching, research, mentorship for innovation/entrepreneurship.
Age Limit:Maximum 70 years.
Remuneration:
- IIEST Funded: Consolidated amount of ₹1,00,000 per month may be offered.
- Industry Funded: Mutually agreed between the industry and the expert.
- Honorary Basis: No remuneration.
Tenure: Initially for up to one year, extendable based on assessment, with a maximum total service of three years (extendable by one year in exceptional cases, up to four years total) or until the age of 70, whichever is earlier.
