Applications are invited for the post of Field Assistant (on contract) in the project entitled “Science Technology and Innovation Hub in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIITA), Prayagraj Block, Prayagraj District, Uttar Pradesh State” in reference to the sanction letter no. DST/SEED/SCSP/STI/2019/136 dated: 28.03.2022 by Department of Science & Technology, NewDelhi-110070.

1. Position: Field Assistant
2. Number of Position: 02 (two)
3. Essential Qualifications: Diploma/ITI OR Graduation (those who are appearing in the final year examination will also be considered)
4. Fellowship: Rs.20000/-+ 16% HRA
5. Title of the Project: Science Technology and Innovation Hub in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIITA), Prayagraj Block, Prayagraj District, Uttar Pradesh State
6. Skills Required:
(i) Basic computer skills.
(ii) Public speaking ability in Hindi OR English
(iii) Problem solving and team work abilities
(iv)Willingness to go through online courses and conducting lab sessions
(v) Should be ready to travel extensively in Allahabad and Varanasi District.

Selection Procedure
1. Mere, possessing the prescribed qualification does not ensure that the candidate would be called for Interview. The Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit and need of the project.
2. Shortlisted Candidates will be informed by e-mail about the interview date. So, the candidate must provide valid E-mail IDs in their applications.
3. Shortlisted candidates have to present themselves for the interview on the interview date with updated CV and original and attested photocopies of mark sheets/certificates in support of their academic qualifications.

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT-A) was established in 1999, as a center of excellence in Information Technology (IT) and allied areas. The institute was conferred the "Deemed University" status by the Government of India in the year 2000. It was declared as an “Institute of National Importance” by the Act of the Parliament, Govt. of India in 2014. The Institute has been conceived with the objective of developing professional expertise and skilled manpower in IT and areas of allied research.
