Recruitment Overview

IISCO Steel Plant (ISP SAIL) has announced a direct recruitment opportunity for 7 Proficiency Trainees (Paramedics) on a temporary basis. This is a Direct Recruitment process based on a Walk-in Interview, not a competitive examination. Eligible candidates with the required diploma and experience are invited to attend the interview at the ISP SAIL campus in Burnpur, West Bengal. This is an excellent opportunity for paramedic professionals to join a premier steel plant under the Government of India.

The total of 7 posts is distributed across two specialized paramedic roles:

Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)

Educational Qualification

• Must be an Indian National.
• Qualification must be from a Central/State Government recognized institute.
• Critical Care Technician: 10+2 or equivalent and Diploma in Critical Care Technology (2-year) with 1 year experience in a Critical Care Unit with ventilator facility.
• Dialysis Technician: 10+2 or equivalent and Diploma in Dialysis Technology (2-year) with 6 months working experience.
• Candidates with relevant post-qualification work experience are given preference.
• Essential qualifications and experience must be valid as of 05-03-2026.

Age Limit & Relaxation

• Age calculated as on 05-03-2026.
• Maximum Age: 30 years (UR), 33 years (OBC), 35 years (SC/ST).
• PH Candidates: 40-45 years (depending on category).
• Age relaxation for OBC, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates is applicable as per government rules.
• OBC (NCL) candidates must submit a certificate issued in FY 2025-26 (on or after 01-04-2025).

Selection Process

This recruitment is based on a Walk-in-Interview. There is no written exam.

1. Document Verification: Original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies will be verified.
2. Walk-in-Interview: Candidates will be interviewed at the venue.
3. Medical Fitness: Final joining is subject to medical fitness.
