Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Trade Apprentice: Candidates must have passed ITI in the relevant trade and be at least 18 years of age as on 28.09.2026. They must not already hold a contract ID under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 from apprenticeship training in another organisation.
• Reservation: Seats are reserved as per West Bengal state government guidelines: SC-22%, ST-6%, OBC-17%, EWS-10%, PWD-3%. Candidates must possess valid category certificates if applying under reserved categories.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

Candidates will be selected based on the marks obtained during their ITI within their specified category and trade. In case of a tie in aggregate marks, the older candidate will be preferred. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process. The apprenticeship training is for one year, and candidates must submit a notarized undertaking confirming no demand for employment based on training.
