Educational Qualification: M.E/M.Tech
Applications are invited from the interested candidates for one post of Junior Research Fellow to work on the R&D project titled “Cyber Physical Systems for Speech Based Graffiti for Human Verification” sanctioned by TIH IIT PATNA, Patna. The staff will be appointed initially for one year (on contract) and hisher services can be extended for next year based on the performance review.
1. Position: Junior Research Fellow
2. No. of Positions: 01
3. Area of Specialization: M.Tech. with specialization in Signal Processing or more specifically in Speech Signal Processing, with knowledge or expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
4. Duration: Initially for a period of one year which may be extended
5. Consolidated Salary per Month: Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA as per GoI norms (Per month)
6. Eligibility:
a. M.Tech. candidates with specialization in Signal or Image Processing or more specifically in Speaker Identification or Verification, with knowledge or expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, shall be eligible if either gone through one of the following
b. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test CSIR UGC NET or GATE during their post graduation degree
c. Scholar who are selected through National Level Examination conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DBT, DST, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER etc during their post graduation degree.
d. For General/OBC/EWS Candidates : First division (65% or 6.5 CGPA on 10 point scale) or equivalent at all levels starting from secondary education for essential qualifications
e. For SC/ST/PH Candidates : M.E./M.Tech with 55% marks or a CGPA of 5.5 on a 10.00 point scale.

Selection Procedure
Mere, possessing the prescribed qualification does not ensure that the candidate would be called for Interview. The Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit and need of the project.
