Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

• Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture (Vegetable Science, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Plant Physiology, Plant Biotechnology, Botany, Life Sciences, or related subjects) with 4/5-year Bachelor’s degree.
  OR
  Master’s degree with 3-year Bachelor’s degree and valid UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/equivalent or Ph.D.
• Experience: Two years research experience in Research or Academic Institutions/Scientific Organizations. Experience as a project student/trainee will not be counted.
• Desirable: Experience in plant tissue culture.

Age Limit

• Maximum age for SRF: 35 years.
• Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and Women candidates; 3 years for OBC candidates.
