Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Master's degree in Vegetable Science / Horticulture / Genetics and Plant Breeding / Plant Biotechnology with 4 years / 5 years Bachelor's degree. Candidates with 3-year Bachelor's + 2-year Master's must hold NET qualification and 2 years of research experience as specified in OM No. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13-07-2015, OM No. Agril. Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD dated 09-10-2015, and OMSR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30-01-2019.
- Young Professional-II: Master's degree in Vegetable Science / Horticulture / Genetics and Plant Breeding / Plant Biotechnology.
- Desirable (SRF): Experience in handling field experiments, crop data recording, basic statistical analysis, PCR, qPCR analysis, tissue culture, biochemical analysis.
- Desirable (YP-II): Experience in handling vegetable crops and data recording related to DUS testing, basic statistical analysis, laboratory work related to PCR and biochemical analysis.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Selection will be made by a duly constituted Selection Committee through a walk-in interview scheduled on 02 November 2026 at 10:30 AM.
