Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) Invites Application for Research Associate-I Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate­1 (one post) at the School of Chemical Sciences in the research group of Dr. Harapriya Rath.

1. Name of the post: Research Associate – I (Institute)

2. No. of post: 01(one)

3. Essential Qualifications: A candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in any field of Organic/Inorganic/Supramolecular/Bioinorganic chemistry from a recognized University/Institute with overall good academic record and impressive publication list. Those who have submitted PhD thesis and still waiting for the degree are also eligible. In such cases, the fellowship will be as per rules of IACS until the PhD certificate is produced.

4. Desired Experience : Experience in multi-step Organic/Inorganic Synthesis and all types of Spectroscopic Techniques

5. Fellowship : As per rules of the IACS

6. Tenure : This position is temporary (one year) and can be extended maximum up to two years subject to the recommendation of the evaluation committee based on his/her performance at every six-months interval and the availability of vacancy. The candidate will have no right to claim (explicit or implicit) any post in the institute.

Selection Procedure

Shortlisted candidates will be called for online interview which will be held tentatively on 7th March 2022.
